Jr High Ministries  (7th - 8th grades)

Sunday Service

Sundays. 9:30am. Youth Center. Come hang with friends, eat donuts, play games and listen to music.  Then, we have a relevant Bible Study and talk about what this means for us.

Confirmation

The 7th and 8th graders meet on Wednesday evenings from September to May, 7:00 to 8:45 p.m. There are a variety of activities every month, including study, servant projects, and fun outings which are open to all Jr. High School youth and their friends. One of the highlights of the Confirmation Experience is the small groups. The youth are mentored by trained and committed Christian men and women.

Youth Retreats and Youth Gatherings

Youth programs offer a number of great travel opportunities. These include mountain retreats, trips to amusement parks, and large-scale gatherings with other church youth groups! Rock out at concerts, hear dynamic speakers, participate in high energy games: What are you waiting for?!

Service Trips

God calls us to serve others and to have a good time. Whether it’s a building trip to Mexico or a weekend at the beach, these Jr. High and High school getaways are a very important way to connect with God and one another.

High School Ministries (9th - 12th grades)

Messiah's High School Ministries exist for students to know God and one another, be transformed by His love and by community, and advance God's Kingdom through their lives.

High School Gathering

Sundays. 9:30am. Joy Center.  Join us as we worship together, hang out, and discuss how God's truth relates to our lives.

Small Groups

Our guy's and girl's small groups are huge to build community and grow in our knowledge and love of God. Guy's meet Tuesday Night's from 7:00-8:30pm in the Youth Center. Girl's meet Wednesday Night's from 7:00-8:30pm in Pastor Bob's office.   

Cypress Street

This is a place and ministry that is very close to our hearts here at Messiah. Just 5 minutes away, off La Jolla and Cypress St. in Placentia, is a community of kids that we get to pour into and teach them about God's amazing love. This is an incredible outreach opportunity not just for high school students for the entire congregation. Winter Retreat 2012

February 10-12. Join us as we go up to Lake Arrowhead for some skiiing, snowboadring, sledding, hanging out, and God Time!!  $130 to ski/board. $80 to sled. Invite your friends and check our Facebook Page for more info.
