We are all considered “ministers” of Christ, gifted and called to serve and love others

Seniors

Prime Time is a dual program of Messiah Senior Ministries. These programs provide fellowship, care and support, opportunities to learn and to serve each other, and support for a variety of other programs at Messiah. While these programs are of greatest interest to the sixty-plus crowd, everyone is welcome. You do not need to be “retired,” just be available to enjoy each other’s company and share your life with others.

Prime Timer Fellowship

Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September to May. We meet in the Joy Center at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, fellowship and motivating programs. Our “Seniors” support and volunteer in many of Messiah's programs and events. Prime Timers also volunteer for a variety of community activities. Please call Paul or Clarice Schickling at 714-874-3849 for more information and to be included in our mailing list to receive our monthly newsletter and meeting announcements.

Prime Timer Travel

Provides opportunities to travel with friends to see new places. In the past, we have taken day bus trips to such places as the Hollywood Bowl, Palm Springs Follies, The Getty Museum, The Museum of Tolerance, Riverside Heritage House, and Azusa Pacific University. The group has also traveled on cruise ships to the Mexican Riviera, New England, and other excursions to Branson, MO and Lake Tahoe. Call Red or Mickey Houghton at 714-993-9612 if you love to travel.
