Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example
in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
Adolescence and young adulthood is a wild time! It’s exciting, and it’s scary. From junior high to college, there are a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns, and with all the movement and change, it’s easy to get confused and even lost.
Here at Messiah, we want to give you solid grounding, a place where you can feel at home—at home with yourself, with your friends, with the Bible, and with God. Check out our list of programs which are all designed to know, love, and serve God more fully…and to grab hold and enjoy the wild ride of this life and all that God has given us! Better yet, swing on down and stay a while!
Youth
Worship
7th & 8th graders meet in the Outreach Zone (OZ)
from 9:30
am-10:10 am for "Hang Time" where they can
visit with friends, eat donuts, play foosball & video games, and
listen to music
then join their friends and families in Worship.
9th-
12th graders meet in the Joy Center
at 10:00 am for High School Worship with the High School Youth
Director, Trevor.

Confirmation
The 7th and 8th graders meet on Wednesday evenings from October to May, 7:00 to 8:45 p.m. There are a variety of activities every month, including study, servant projects, and fun outings which are open to all Jr. High School youth and their friends. One of the highlights of the Confirmation Experience is the small groups. The youth are mentored by trained and committed Christian men and women.
Retreats and Youth Gatherings
The High School and Jr. High School programs both offer a number of great
travel opportunities. These include mountain retreats, trips to amusement parks, and large-scale gatherings with other church youth groups!
Rock out at concerts, hear dynamic speakers, participate in high energy games: What are you waiting for?!
Service Trips
God calls us to serve others and to have a good time. Whether it’s a building trip to Mexico or a weekend at the beach, these Jr. High and Sr. High school getaways are a very important way to
connect with God and one another.
