| How Messiah Cares and Serves |
E-Prayer Chain
Our e-prayer chain consists of Messiah disciples who serve as prayer warriors on an email team. This ministry lifts individuals and their loved ones up in prayer, in praise, and thanksgiving, and asks for God's help in their lives. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, please call
Jen Emard at 714-579-2996.
Caring Hands Kitchen
Messiah
Lutheran has committed to staffing the Caring Hands Kitchen in Fullerton on the second
Tuesday of each month.
This hot meal program, sponsored by First Lutheran Church, feeds nearly
100 people each Tuesday night in their church dining room. This important
ministry allows us to open our hearts and to care for the hungry and homeless
right in our own community.
For
Messiah’s night at the kitchen, we will need a team of 8–10 volunteers from
4:00 pm-7:00 pm to cook a preplanned meal, serve, and cleanup.
The menu, groceries, and instructions will be provided for
you. This
is a great opportunity for individuals, organizations, or families to give back
to those in need.
Open your heart, reach out, and make a difference.

A network of Messiah helping hands assists in times of crisis. American Red Cross Blood Drive
Messiah Lutheran is an ambassador to the American Red Cross for our commitment to hosting blood drives. Blood drives are held 3 times per year during the months of March, July, and October to donate this "gift of
life." To schedule an appointment, click on the link
www.GiveLife.org and type Messiah in the sponsor code box. Walk-in's are always welcome.
American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
In August, Messiah Lutheran joins the community in the fight against cancer. Our team, “Got Faith” camps out at Yorba Middle School and take turns walking or running around a track. We will have a representative on the track at all times during the event - because cancer never sleeps. This event raises money to help prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from the disease. Let’s all join together on the Messiah Lutheran/Got Faith? Team! Call Cheryl Berenguer at
714-345-1312 for more information.
