6:30pm Messiah Book Group
Friday, February 14, 2020, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Our February book choice is Songs of Willow Frost, by Jamie Ford. Set against the backdrop of Depression-era Seattle, this is a powerful tale of two souls. Twelve year old William Eng is a Chinese American boy living at Sacred Heart Orphanage who dreams of reuniting with his long-lost mother. He suspects that she is the movie star Liu Song. You are invited to the home of Dave and Lynda Baker at 1243 Brian St. Placentia on Friday, February 14 at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and discussion. You can reply to them on Messiah Connect or call them at (714) 528-4592.
I don't know who suggested Songs of Willow Frost. If that person would like to lead a discussion, please let me know.
