Our September hike is set for Irvine Regional Park, traversing the original picnic grounds of James Irvine ll. Founded in the late 1800s, this is the oldest regional park in California, and the oldest park in Orange County.

Hikers will plan to depart at 7:45 am. We will be hiking a combo of trails, circling the park.  The hike is easy and mostly flat. Much of the walking path is paved but there are sections of loose dirt, so appropriate shoes are necessary. This hike length is about 5 miles and take approximately 1.5 hours.

Parking cost is $5. Park in lot R or S.  Hikers will gather "pre-hike" between the two lots. Following the hike, coffee and croissants will be provided for all who wish to hang out, physical distancing, "under the old Oak trees". Bring a blanket or beach chair in order to comfortably enjoy the "post-hike."

Masks should be worn to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
