Hope 4 Kids International

For over 15 years Messiah has supported this wonderful ministry, a non-profit organization making a difference in the lives of kids all over the world. Their mission is to bring hope to kids in the greatest need through health, love, dignity, and joy. To develop a deeper partnership with our Ugandan brothers and sisters, we are sending mission teams to Uganda each year. Over the past few years, Messiah has adopted the Uganda Outreach specifically. We have financed half of a medical clinic built in the small village outside of Tororo, and our children have raised offerings to construct a Sunday school building. This past year Messiah was the catalyst for raising enough money to build a hospital!

World Coffee Project

The first Sunday of every month is Coffee Sunday. Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa mix are available for purchase on the patio. All the items are from Equal Exchange and come from small farmer co-ops. In addition, proceeds from sales at Messiah go to Lutheran World Relief’s coffee project which also provides support.

Outreach around the World

Through our benevolence offerings, Messiah supports world mission. The Division for Global Mission (DGM) is the channel through which the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America expresses itself in mission throughout the world. It sees itself to be an interdependent part of the whole church's mission in the world. With this, DGM engages the members and resources of the ELCA in mission around the world through involvement in evangelism, witness, education, promotion of justice, service, relief, and development. Mission Trips

Habitat for Humanity Columbia Build Trip, November 2011

Join Pastor Ron and travel to Columbia for an International Habitat for Hummanity build. One of his reasons for this trip is to qualify to lead an International Habitat building trip to Latin America in the summer of 2012. Each participant needs to contribute toward supplies and materials for the houses they will build. Uganda 2012

Join us next summer on our mission trip to Uganda July 23 through August 5. Come be a part of our ministry with Hope 4 Kids as we directly respond to the critical needs of AIDS stricken villagers by digging wells, building a medical/dental clinic, building a hospital, and improving water and electrical utility infrastructures. Holy Land Trip 2012

Join us next summer, June 24 through July 3. Walk the Cobblestone streets that Jesus walked! Join Pastor Bob and his wife, Jeannie on a glorious trip of a lifetime to the Holy Land.
