What would happen if the entire community came together to help one another—City government, businesses, residents, the faith community, service groups, schools and sports organizations?
Messiah is excited to be one of 15 churches to participate in this city-wide serve day, along with local government, businesses, public and private education and local residents. Our mission is to demonstrate kindness, meet needs and impact lives. We will paint schools, landscape parks, spruce up neighborhoods and more. Hundreds of people will participate in over 30 service projects! The event begins at 8:00 am, at El Dorado High School with opening festivities, free food, and vendors, followed by an opening rally at 9:00 am. Project leaders and volunteers will head to their service projects at 9:30 am. Everyone will gather back together at 12:30 pm, at Fullerton Union High School, where lunch will be provided.
