Our book for April is God's Rejected King, by Ron Baesler. This novel explores the spiritual agonies of Saul, Israel's first king. Saul is stunned and terrified when told he is to be the nation's king. He questions God's decision and asks for God's guidance, but all he receives is God's silence.
