Happy New Year! As the new year unfolds we are going to traverse through the "countryside" of Yorba Linda along the El Cajon Trail. This will be the first of monthly hikes, which will be planned for the 3rd Sat. of each month.
This first hike of the year will begin at the Yorba Linda Community Center parking lot at 8 am on Sat. Jan. 21st. From there we will trek up to the trailhead at Bastanchury and then continue hiking south on flat paved and dirt trails for approx. 5+ miles. Plan on a 2-hour time frame to hang-out & chat with new & old friends.
Those who wish a little longer chat session can depart at the hike's end to enjoy a cup of coffee at the YL Starbucks, across from Messiah, before heading on for the day.
