9am Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Easter Project

This Easter, Messiah is supporting Rise Against Hunger, international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world's most vulnerable. 100 volunteers can package 25,000 meals in about two hours. This is our goal. We will hold a meal packing event on Saturday, April 29, 9-11am. Ages 6 and older are invited to participate (free child care is available). Each meal is nutritiously sound with 21 essential vitamins and nutrients and costs just 38 cents to package.
In giving a donation you are invited to make a special dedication in our Easter Sunday bulletin (due by April 3).
