Sunday Mornings
Child Care
We provide loving care for infants through age 3, beginning at 9:45am in Room 113, in the Life Center. Our experienced Child Care staff are all screened and background checked. They provide a loving environment where children can have age-appropriate fun as they learn about God’s love.
Messiah Kids
Join us on Sunday mornings at 10am in the Life Center. We provide a fun and interactive environment filled with the love of Jesus. We have age-appropriate classes with fun activities, interactive discussions, and crafts. Our large group worship time and our Kids Discipleship Group is created to minister to each age group appropriately. All of our volunteers are screened and background checked so that we can ensure the safety of every kid that attends Messiah Kids on Sundays. We want children to lead BIG Lives and make a BIG IMPACT in every area of their lives, because we serve a BIG GOD!
Annual Events
2nd Grade Bible Class
2nd graders (or older) and their parents are invited to attend a two week introduction to the Bible class. As our 2nd graders become independent readers we are honored to present each of them with a Bible of their own. Classes are typically held on two Sundays in February.
First Communion Class
We walk with our 5th graders (and older) as they prepare to receive their First Communion. We hold a workshop during Lent for our First Communicants and their parents. After completing the workshop, they receive their First Communion during our Maundy Thursday worship service.
To celebrate this important step in their spiritual growth we invite our First Communicants and their families and guests to a special reception in their honor prior to the service.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, we hold VBS for one week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 12pm. This is always a fun-filled week with friends, games, crafts, Bible stories and music all centered around our almighty God! VBS is open to ages 4 through 6th grade. Volunteer opportunities are open to 7th graders through adult. Watch a video from our last VBS here!
Trunk or Treat
Celebrate with us in October! Trunk or Treat in our safe parking lot. Enjoy music, inflatable slides, dinner and more. It's a fun evening for the whole family. This is one of our most popular community-wide events! Trunk or Treat is typically the Friday before Halloween from 6-8pm. Watch a video from our last Trunk or Treat here!
Christmas Pageant
Children ages 4 through 8th grade are invited to participate in an annual Christmas Pageant. They share the Christmas Story in a special service, mid-December. Complete with classic Christmas hymns and costumes, this provides a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus and prepare your heart for Christmas!
Eggapalooza: Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Messiah provides a safe place for your children to play games and collect eggs on a Saturday before Easter Sunday.
